This Guy

Happy Birthday to This Guy!!  I had to look through no less than 3000 pictures of my kids to find this ONE (not-so-great) picture of my amazingly good looking husband!  He loves me so well, and I am beyond blessed to be his.

It’s 12:45am and my kids are still awake

Its almost 1am. GTB is having night terrors, his crying is waking up the deuce, and the babe is moaning from her pink eye and double ear infection. I am trying to kill time until everyone falls asleep; hence, this unanticipated and less than thoughtful post.

Want to know what a typical day looks like in the Engstrom house? Pretty much like this. Kind of gross but a whole lot of fun.

Last weekend, my dad, sister, and cousins ran the livestrong half marathon. It was an amazing event to be a part of and I was so thankful to celebrate my dad and my cousin Jay, both cancer survivors. I know many people do not attribute the fight against cancer to the Lord, but I trust that He is fully in control of this fight – and the ultimate victor! It is surely because of his grace that the livestrong foundation is helping so many people, and I am thankful for the work they are doing. I’ll post a link to some of their race highlights but for now, here’s a pic or two.
